Mia was introduced to digital marketing while studying public relations at the University of Georgia. To take her career to the next level and to adapt to the digital age, Mia expanded her studies and obtained a certificate in new media. Adding digital media marketing to her toolkit was her ticket to compete for internships and eventually land her first full-time position as a digital marketer.
Mia’s first role as a digital marketer was for a start-up SEO agency in Dunwoody, Ga. There she was an account manager and technical analyst and spent all her time researching the ins and outs of SEO. After a year, Mia moved on to another Atlanta agency where she managed SEO and SEM. For two years, Mia created and implemented campaigns across multi-channels from strategy to analysis. Most recently, Mia was the SEO Manager at an agency in midtown Atlanta. There, she planned and managed both owned and earned media campaigns for local and national brands.
Working at agencies in a major city like Atlanta has enabled Mia to work on a large number of campaigns across a variety of industries. B2B, B2C, retail, healthcare, food, law, construction and everything in between! From running display and PPC ads for well-known universities, to managing local campaigns for national healthcare providers with 100+ locations, and launching innovative social media branding campaigns for home builders – Mia has successfully developed, implemented and analyzed multi-channel marketing strategies that drive business results.
When not building digital media campaigns, Mia spends her time with her husband and two children. Outdoor enthusiasts at heart, you can be sure to find the Means family hiking a trail in the North Georgia mountains, tending to their garden, or grilling out with family and friends. It is actually family that motivated Mia to start Means Marketing Solutions. Mia’s son was just born and the long daily commute from Covington to Atlanta was no longer conducive to their family needs. Burnt out from the city lights and needing a change, Mia formed Means Marketing Solutions.
